This effort began in 2021, after researching herbalism for a year and focusing my studies on East Coast green wisdom. After 14 years of teaching I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder stemming from a back injury. I needed a reset and a new way of life. One that reduces chemical exposure as much as possible in order to reduce the incidence of flare ups! I have been exploring California outdoors all my life, whether by myself or with my son. I am excited to share my unique life with you in this space! I was born here, and I've made an effort the last few years to study California culture surrounding flora, fauna, fungi and all things California!
